Ways to Help
Whether you have an afternoon or an ongoing commitment, there is a place for you. No military experience is required for most roles.
Golf Tournament Support — Course marshals, registration, raffle, and hospitality for the annual Hiki Nō Golf Tournament.
Family Support Events — Help plan and staff family days, deployment send-offs, and homecoming welcomes.
Benefits Navigation — Assist Soldiers and veterans with VA and Social Security paperwork and referrals.
Fundraising & Sponsorship — Connect HNAA with local businesses and community partners willing to sponsor programs.
Communications — Photography, social media, and newsletter support for association events.
Membership
Become a Member
Membership is open to the Soldiers, veterans, families, and supporters of the 1-487th FA Battalion. To apply, contact us with your name, your connection to the battalion, and the membership type you are seeking.
Regular Membership
- Active or former Soldiers of the 1-487th FA Battalion
- At least 75% of membership must be former U.S. military personnel
- Full voting rights; eligible for elected officer positions
- Access to all member programs, including scholarship eligibility
Honorary Membership
- Individuals who have rendered significant service to the 1-487th FA
- Open to family members, widows, widowers, and community leaders
- Recognized by a vote of the Regular membership
- Non-voting advisory role; full participation in all events and programs
